UPDATE: WE(Dawn and Mary) will be leaving for China on Sept 10th and will meet Baby J on September 14th in Nanchang, CHINA!!!!!

Update: On July 21, 2009 we received a referal for a beautiful little 8 month old girl, her chinese name is Xiao!!! We are thankful and so excited to become her parents. Please go see how cute she is by clicking on "our referal" on the homepage. We should be able to go get her in about 8 weeks which puts us traveling at the end of September. We are asking anyone who visits our website to please leave a little message for our daughter!
Welcome to our website that we are going to use to share the news about our newest family member and our journey to China so our family and friends can follow along. We are Dave and Dawn, we are waiting patiently (at times not so patiently) for (about 40 months) a brother or sister for our son J. We sent our paper work to China in February 2006 and the paperwork was logged in on March 21, 2006. In the adoption world this date 03/21/2006 is known as your LID (log in date) and this will determine when a child will be available for you to adopt. We are expecting to receive a referal from our adoption agency in July 2009 for our new child. A referal is a few pictures and some information about your child, like how old, where they are living, and medical info etc.... So please come along as we begin the journey of a lifetime.
