Hello

As you all know Jessica and I have been in the hospital for lead toxicity
since Monday. Tonight is our last chelation treatment woo hoo and we can
break out in the morning. The health Dept went to our house today and evaluated our home and its contents, no lead was found. They also took soil samples and we will find out the results next week but we do not anticipate this being the cause. The Health Dept believes it is most likely from living in China.

> Update on Jessica she is doing wonderfully, yesterday we escaped and went for a walk outside it was a sunny beautiful fall day about 65 degrees. So nice to be out and about can't wait to go home and eat homemade food not hospital food.
Today physical therapy and occupational therapy evaluated Jessica to see if we
needed early intervention services we decided that yes she is behind in her
gross motor and social-personal areas at this time but we would not start
therapy for a few months because they think she may catch up with just doing
some things at home. She told me tummy time is so important. If you remember in China I could not set her on her tummy and now we can lay on our tummy for 10-15 minutes at a time. So we are getting there she can also stand on her legs now for a few 1-2 minutes which she could not do at all in China.

So the plan now is home for three weeks redo blood work and hope and pray her lead level is 0. When we go home we will be on an iron supplement daily. Apparently lead makes you have a low iron count so for a few months you need to supplement with iron. Otherwise she is her usual adorable self.

We go home tomorrow, we are so excited to get back to Daddy and Joe!!!

See you at home!

Dawn and Jessica
